Nanavati hospital plans to treble its capacity to 900 beds. The overall cost of this expansion plan will be over Rs 350 crore.
The major portion of investment will be spent to add 600 beds more to the present 350 beds, along with super speciality wings, and to install state-of-the-art technology.
The hospital will add new beds on the surplus area, on the five acre campus, in the northern Ville Parle suburb. It has additional FSI of over five lakh sq ft.
In July 2014, Nanavati Hospital inked a management and operations pact with the city-based Radiant Life Care.
Radiant successfully redeveloped and currently manages the BLK super speciality hospital in Delhi. It has 650 beds and is the largest private sector hospital in the capital.
