Country Club India (CCIL) is planning to set up fitness centres across the country by 2016.
The company will invest Rs 350 crore to set up a chain of 100 fitness centres in phased manner. In the Phase I, CCIL would focus on multiple locations in major metros. Thereafter, it would enter tier II cities with the aim of establishing a pan India network. Each fitness centre's size will broadly range between 4,000 and 10,000 sq ft. These fitness centres will boast of latest equipment, will be well managed and will have experts on board to address the fitness needs of its members.
