Leela Group has evinced interest in investing
Rs.650 crore on the proposed Kannur international airport project and has asked
the Kerala government to act as a facilitator to develop it.
The project has achieved the technical
feasibility and the government is in the process of land acquisition programme.
The Rs.650 crore is being invested in the Phase I
of the project and is being implemented on BOO basis.
