Reliance Energy and Hyundai
Engineering Construction Co (HDEC) consortium has submitted its bids for
Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation's (MSRDC) 22.5 km Mumbai trans
harbour sea-link project.
Two consultants-France's Systra and
China-based BRDI has helped the REL-led consortium in submitting technical
submission which contains the design details, and carefully evaluated sketches
and the technology that will be used across the stretch. The contractor for the
project is likely to be awarded by February 2008.
The project entailing an investment of
Rs.4,000 crore is likely to be completed within five years from the date of
commencement.
