Dassault Systèmes has inaugurated a new R&D campus in Pune, Maharashtra, making it the company’s largest centre in India and a vital hub in its global innovation network.
The expansion consolidates three decades of operations in the region and increases the campus capacity from 4,700 to 7,100 people with the addition of the new “EARTH” building, accommodating 2,400 people. The facility is built according to IGBC Green Building standards, incorporating water recycling, CO2-monitored air-conditioning, energy-efficient lighting, and solar power capacity exceeding 610 KW. These features underscore Dassault’s dedication to sustainable growth and reduced environmental impact.
Deepak NG, Managing Director of Dassault Systèmes India, highlighted the campus as a platform for accelerating innovation, collaboration with customers, academia, and startups, and creating high-value work roles. This expansion strengthens the company’s investment in India, advancing AI-powered generative experiences and virtual twin technologies for global markets.
