Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality group, has announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in Mahapura, Jaipur.
The 161-key property will strengthen IHCL’s growing presence in the city, complementing its 16 operational hotels and five under development. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL, highlighted Jaipur's evolving appeal, noting that the city has become a key business hub, beyond its traditional leisure and MICE segments. Gateway Mahapura will cater to this demand, offering easy access to cultural landmarks such as Amber Fort and City Palace.
Designed for both leisure and business travellers, the hotel will feature dining options, a swimming pool, fitness centre, and a 9,000 sq.ft. banquet hall for events. This project reflects IHCL’s commitment to expanding its upscale offerings across key Indian cities.
