The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for four-laning of the Jagtial–Karimnagar section of National Highway-563 in Telangana.
The stretch spans design chainage 0.000 km (corresponding to existing chainage 90/500 on NH-63) to design chainage 58.866 km, terminating near SH1 chainage 170.400 km at the Karimnagar bypass end. The total design length of the project is 58.866 km. At an estimated cost of Rs 1,979.11 crore, the work will be executed under the BOT (Toll) mode.
This infrastructure upgrade aims to enhance regional connectivity, ease traffic congestion, and support economic development in the region. It is expected to provide a major boost to logistics efficiency and inter-city travel in northern Telangana.
The deadline for submission of bids is 20 November, 2025.
