South Central Railway has floated a tender for the doubling of the railway track between Sant Sevalal Maharaj and Vishnupuram stations.
The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract includes the electrification and signalling works as part of the Motumari-Vishnupuram doubling in Telangana. The contract is valued at Rs 439.46 crore, with a completion timeline of 24 months. The scope of work involves extensive track work, along with the necessary electrification and signalling systems to improve the operational efficiency and capacity of the rail route. This initiative is aimed at enhancing connectivity and supporting the growing transportation needs of the region.
The end date for bid submisison is set for 05 March, 2026.
