Engineers India has won a consultancy contract from Assam Petrochemicals. The contract is for the 500 tonne per day methanol plant and 200 tonne per day acetic acid plant at Namrup, Assam.
According to the order, the nature of work comprises license, engineering, procurement and construction of management services for ISBL Plant & integrated OSBL plant of 500 tonne per day for methanol & 200 tonne per day acetic acid plant.
The company will complete the project over the next 36 months.
Engineers India will retain its leadership in the hydrocarbon consulting segment. Weak order pipeline of greenfield refining expansions will likely lead to moderate annual LSTK order intake of Rs six to seven billion in FY15/16.
