Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids for the extension of a runway at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of the work also includes re-carpeting and strengthening of existing runway including construction of pParallel Ttaxi, lLink taxi, RET with shoulder, blast pad & pPerimeter Rroad, Ddrainage, RESA, lLeveling and grading including strengthening of rRunway Bbasic Sstrip, construction of Aapron and iIsolation bBay with shoulder and GSE area.
The estimated cprojectontract value is Rs 456.97 crore, with a scheduled completion period of 18 months from the award of the contract.
The closing date for bid submission is 06 June, 2025.
