The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved several key decisions aimed at bolstering the state's industrial and logistical capabilities.
One of the major approvals was for the establishment of the Andhra Pradesh Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (APLINC), along with a dedicated Logistics Fund. This initiative is designed to transform AP into a logistics hub, planning and managing logistics infrastructure across the state. Information Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy highlighted that these decisions would drive industrial growth, attract large investments, and create significant employment opportunities. The Cabinet also approved the AP Cluster Development Programme (AP-CDP) to enhance the MSME ecosystem with Rs 200 cr outlay, establishing 45 Common Facility Centres over the next five years.
A series of land allotments were also endorsed for projects like an aerospace venture and green energy initiatives. The Cabinet also approved significant land allotments recommended by the State Investment Promotion Board. These include land for Ethereal Exploration Guild to develop end-to-end launch vehicles under the proposed Space Corridor and for Pioneer Clean Amps to set up a flight training school and MRO facility for Hansa-3 aircraft. Additionally, large green energy projects were given the green light, including Tata Power's 10 GW ingot/wafer plant and Websol Renewable's four GW solar cell project, both of which will receive incentives.
