Amazon India has announced the expansion of its full-basket grocery service, Amazon Fresh, to over 170 cities, including tier-II and tier-III towns.
The e-commerce giant is focusing on its full-basket grocery expansion at a time when quick commerce platforms are increasingly catering to planned and top-up purchases. Customers in cities like Gorakhpur, Chittoor, Ambala, and Vijayawada can now access fresh and dry groceries—including fruits and vegetables, dairy, personal care products, among others. The company's focus is to provide a seamless shopping experience with great savings, wide selection, and the convenience of slotted doorstep deliveries.
Amazon Fresh has also expanded its product assortment. With a growing demand for faster deliveries, Amazon Fresh has been enhancing its two-hour slot coverage and improving discoverability to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
Amazon Fresh continues to offer a comprehensive range of wet and dry groceries, including fruits, vegetables, dairy, frozen products, beauty and baby care essentials, personal care items, and pet supplies.
