Ambuja Realty has drawn up a Rs 1,000 crore investment plan to set up
commercial and residential properties over the next few years.
The company plans to infuse about Rs 100 crore on three business parks, Rs
250 crore on a commercial and residential complex in Siliguri apart from Rs 300
crore, Rs 150 crore and Rs 70 crore on projects in Patna (Bihar), Raipur
(Chhattisgarh) and Haldia (West Bengal), respectively.
The company is also expected to undertake the construction of Phase II of its
business park – Ecospace at Rajarhat.
Meanwhile, Ambuja's five-star business hotel being set up along with
Swissotel will be open by May 2010. The 147-key hotel, which is located upon the
second City Centre mall in Kolkata, has entailed an investment of Rs 100 crore.
