Amway India, a FMCG company has chalked out an expansion plan to be implemented over the next two to three years.
The company has earmarked Rs 450 crore for the purpose. The plan involves setting up a manufacturing plant, adding more outlets as well as brand experience centres. However, the company is yet to finalise a location for the manufacturing facility.
At present, the company manufactures about 90 per cent of the products through seven third party contract manufacturers. Also, it has invested Rs 55 crore at its contract manufacturing plant at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh for expanding production.
