Anjani Portland Cement has begun commercial production of its plant at
Chintalapalem village, Mellacheruvu mandal in Nalgonda District of Andhra
Pradesh from 27 March 2010.
The company carried out expansion at the existing plant bringing the total
capacity of the plant to 1.16 million tpa. The expansion project entailed a cost
of Rs 181.53 crore and the project was funded through term loans from banks to
the tune of Rs 115.00 crore and unsecured loans from promoters and internal
accruals of Rs 66.53 crore.
