Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Rajasthan has invited bids for the implementation of Jakham Dam based drinking water supply project.
The project aims to serve 1,473 villages across the districts of Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, and Udaipur. It will be executed under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in two separate packages through the hybrid annuity model (HAM).
Package-1 includes 93 villages in the Chhoti Sadri block of Pratapgarh and 707 villages spread across seven blocks in the Chittorgarh district. The scope of work comprises the construction of a water treatment plant (WTP), intermediate pumping stations (IPS-1 to IPS-6), and clear water pumping stations (CPS-01 to CPS-19), along with associated civil works. Operation and maintenance services for a period of ten years is also included.
The estimated project cost for Package-1 is Rs 1,692.30 crore. Package-2 covers 371 villages across three blocks in Udaipur and 302 villages across four blocks in Rajsamand. The scope includes construction of IPS-2 at Mata Kheri, IPS-7 at Dharta, IPS-8 at Mavli, IPS-9 at Mehanduriyai, IPS-10 at Dum Khera, and IPS-11 at Banda. It also includes laying rising mains from the trunk line to CPS-20 through CPS-53, as well as cluster-level and village-level water distribution networks with associated civil infrastructure. The estimated cost for Package-2 is Rs 1,648.54 crore.
