Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) has invited bids for the development of a warehousing facility through a public-private partnership (PPP) under the design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) model at 34 locations across India.
The contract, valued at Rs 1,167 crore, is aimed at strengthening India's warehousing infrastructure and improving logistics capabilities. The successful bidder’s special purpose company (SPC) will have 45 days to sign the concession agreement after receiving the letter of award (LoA). The project covering sites in Andhra Pradesh,Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka and other states includes a two-phase operational timeline: the commercial operation date 1 (COD 1), which marks the start of operations after the handover of the site, and commercial operation date 2 (COD 2), for the start of operations after completing the construction of new assets.
The closing date for bid submission is 14 January, 2026.
