The Bombay High Court has upheld the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation’s (MSRDC) decision to approve MGSA Realty’s proposed integrated logistics park along the Samruddhi Mahamarg.
Estimated at Rs 2,300 crore and spanning 167 hectares (423 acres) across four villages, the project is expected to create 10,000 direct employment. A division bench of Justices RI Chagla and Farhan Dubhash dismissed a petition filed by Bhadane Industrial and Logistics Parks and two other firms, which challenged the September 30, 2024 approval granted to MGSA Realty.
The petitioners argued that their own proposal, submitted 15 months earlier, was ignored and that MGSA’s was cleared “in just 40 days.” However, MSRDC clarified that all proposals had been reviewed by a high-level committee, with detailed notes prepared for the Board.
