CG Power and Industrial Solutions (CG Power) has bagged a contract worth Rs 641 crore for supply of transformer package from Power Grid Corporation of India  (PowerGrid). The supply of goods under this contract will be completed over a span of 18 to 36 months.

The contract under corporate package includes 765kV transformer package 7TR-12-Bulk for procurement of 765/400 KV 1-Ph transformers for procurement of 765kV and 400kV class transformers and reactors of various capacities with revised methodology Lot-4. CG offers power transformers in the range of 25 kVA to 1500 MVA, and 11kV to 765kV class, and Reactors in the range of 10 MVAr to 125 MVAr, and 33kV to 765kV class.

These products conform to IEC, ANSI, IS, BS and other international standards and are globally used in industries such as power utilities, process industries, railways, mines, electricity boards, industrial users, and more.
