The custom manufactured chemicals division (CMCD) of Chemplast Sanmar has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with an agrochemical innovator company to manufacture an advanced intermediate for a generic active Ingredient.
The new product would be manufactured at the company’s new multi-purpose production block, which is expected to be commissioned in the second quarter of this year.
The LoI is for a period of five years, and the commercial supplies are expected to start from Q4/ FY24.
The firm will leverage technical know-how, research and development capability and a range of chemical technologies to deliver the specifications.
The CMCD is engaged in the manufacturing of advanced intermediates which serve agrochemical, pharmaceutical, and fine chemical innovators.
