DF Power Systems, a subsidiary company of TD Power Systems, has announced the cancellation of the contract for setting up 45 MW captive power plant in the North-East India.
The company had bagged the contract worth Rs 225 crore in the month of February 2013, from an industrial conglomerate for setting up this power project.
The reason pointed out for cancellation of the order is that, the said order after awarding was put on hold by the Industrial conglomerate, who came forward for renegotiation due to changes in project configuration and price.
However, the above renegotiation was not successful between the companies, which further lead to cancellation of order.
