Managed office space provider DevX is looking to double its portfolio to over two million sq. ft. over the next two years as larger enterprises and startups look at distributed workforce as a viable option. With focus on tier-II and III cities, DevX intends to partner with its clients to utilise the opportunities, talent base and growth potential.

The company currently has operational centres in key cities like Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and others. Last week, DevX set up a new co-working centre spread over 25,000 sq. ft. with 300 seats in Udaipur. It is also working on its foray into the international market, starting with Dubai and Singapore. 

With its stated business goal of being the partner of choice for multinational firms, global capability centres (GCCs) and offshore development centres (ODCs), the future of the Industry. DevX recently raised funding worth USD seven million, which will assist in its national and global expansion.

DevX is also setting up Deakin University’s India campus in GIFT City in Gujarat, making it the first instance of an international university to set up a campus in the country. The company has partnered with Nila Infrastructure for the construction work, while DevX will design, build and deliver the 25,000 sq. ft. campus.

Factors such as the expansion of startup ventures, evolving work environment, and the need for economical solutions contribute to the escalating demand for flexible office spaces. Started in 2017, the company has a presence across 10 cities in India with 27 centres.
