Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the execution of balance of plant (BOP) packages for the 1x800 MW ultra super critical unit no. 7 in Gujarat.
This unit will be constructed on the ash dyke area at Ukai Thermal Power Station (TPS), operated by Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL). The company emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order with a bid value of Rs. 4,461.01 crore.
Once operational, the unit is expected to significantly contribute to the state’s power supply through advanced ultra-supercritical technology, ensuring improved efficiency and reduced emissions. The development represents a major milestone in strengthening Gujarat's energy infrastructure.
