Ferring Therapeutics is planning to expand active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and intermediates unit capacity at Addl. Ambernath MIDC, Ambernath in Thane district of Maharashtra.
The capacity of the unit will be raised from 300 tpa to 1,200 tpa.
In September 2022, company has received environment clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Maharashtra.
As per the information shared with Projects Today, work on the project is expected to commence by January 2023. The contractor and machinery supplier are finalised.
The company is expecting to complete the project by January 2026.
