Flipkart, an e-commerce company, has expanded its supply chain infrastructure in the state of Haryana. The company has opened two of its largest fulfilment centres in Farrukhnagar, Haryana, which will generate over 5,000 jobs in the region.
The fulfilment centres spread across nine lakh sq ft will help the company significantly scale up its supply chain infrastructure in north India.
Including the two fulfilment centres, the company now has 12 assets in Haryana, including supply chain infrastructure for large appliances and non-large appliances, including mobiles, apparel, grocery and furniture, taking the total asset capacity in the state to over 20 lakh sq ft.
