1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

GSECL gets green nod to set up coal based supercritical thermal power plant

The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL) has received environmental clearance (EC) from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) to establish one x 800 MW coal-based supercritical thermal power plant in Gujarat. 
 
The thermal power project will come up within the premises of the existing units  two x 200 MW, one x 210 MW and one x 500 MW Ukai Thermal Power Plant located at Vagds village in Tapi district. 
 
The total installed generating capacity at Ukai Thermal Power Plant is 1,350 MW, comprising two x 120 MW (units 1 & 2 – decommissioned), two x 200 MW (units 3 & 4), one x 210 MW (unit 5) nad one x 500 MW (unit 6). 
 
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 5,113 crore. The terms of reference (ToR) for the proposed project was granted on 4 September 2018.
 
The land required for the project is 89 acre. The coal required for the proposed project is 3.34 million tpa. The company has been allocated Gare Palma Sector-I coal block in Mand Raigarh Coalfield, Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. 
 
The maximum water requirement for the proposed one x 800 MW unit is around 45,600 cu mtr per day. The proposed project will be operated on zero effluent discharge concept and no water wastewater will be discharged. 
 
The flyash generation from the proposed project is 9.08 lakh tpa and bottom ash generation is 2.27 lakh tpa.
