The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd (GSECL) has invited bids from
potential individual or consortium companies for EPC works of its 350 MW natural
gas based combined cycle power plant at Dhuvaran in Gujarat.
The proposed capacity is only indicative based on the gas allocation of 1.7
mmscmd. The plant is likely to operate as base load station. The power generated
is expected to be sold to GUVNL under a PPA.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement,
construction, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of the power plant.
The contractor is expected to execute the entire scope on fixed price turnkey
basis.
Last date of submission of bids is 3 November 2009.
