The 4th Global Exhibition on Services being held between 15 May to 18 May 2018 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, was inaugurated by President of India, Ram Nath Kovind.
The event has been organised by the Ministry of Commerce along with the Services Export Promotion Council and the Confederation of Indian Industry as well as the Government of Maharashtra. Over 500 international delegates from 100 countries have participated in the event.
The event was also attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu.
The event saw launch of a portal ‘India Services Portal’ and 12 Champion Sectors in Services. These focus sectors are Business Services, Media and Entertainment Services, Construction and Related Engineering Services, Next Gen Cities, Distribution Services, Educational Services, Environmental Services, Financial Services, Transport Services among others.
Also, the logo for the services sector was unveiled, and reports and keynotes by dignitaries were released.
