Ajay Singh Yadav, Minister of Finance, Haryana, on 10 March 2010 presented
the state Budget for 2010-11 with a composite plan outlay of Rs 11,863 crore.
The allocation for the annual state plan was proposed at Rs 10,500 crore.
Besides, an outlay of Rs 1,363.58 crore had been made for the centrally
sponsored schemes and other development plan schemes.
An amount of Rs 1,447.14 crore has been allocated for urban development, Rs
1,073.62 crore for agriculture and allied sectors, Rs 1,616.49 crore for
irrigation sector, Rs 1,125.48 crore for health sector, Rs 1,142.10 crore for
transport sector, and Rs 6,377.41 crore for education sector.
