Indiabulls Power has synchronised unit II of its 1,350 MW thermal plant in Amravati, Maharashtra.
Indiabulls has successfully conducted the boiler light up for unit II of 270 MW. In March 2013, it has synchronised the unit I of 270 MW. BHEL is the EPC contractor for the project. The company is setting up a coal based power plant on supercritical technology with 5x270 MW capacity at Nandgaonpet in Amravati district of the state. The project estimated to cost Rs 6,888 crore is spread over 1,350 acre area.
