Isgec Heavy Engineering has received an order for Rs 197.25 crore from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) for renovation and modernisation of the electrostatic precipitators (ESP’s) for the 2x500 MW TPP at Chandrapur thermal power station in Maharashtra on EPC basis.
The ESP’s will be retrofitted and modernised for particulate emission reduction in accordance with the latest emission norms guidelines for thermal power plants. Isgec is expected to carry out the complete design, engineering, supply, assembly, erection, commissioning and performance guarantee testing for ESP upgradation.
ESP is a major product in Isgec’s air pollution control equipment portfolio. The company is already executing an order for dry sorbent injection (DSI)-based DeSOx system for MAHAGENCO.
