JK Tyre & Industries inaugurated Phase III of its capacity expansion at the Banmore, Madhya Pradesh, plant, boosting production to 30,000 passenger car radial (PCR) tyres daily, or about 10.5 million tyres annually.
This is part of the company’s over Rs 1,000 crore investment strategy aimed at modernising its operations. The inauguration ceremony on 14 January, 2026 was attended by Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India, alongside Raghupati Singhania and Anshuman Singhania from JK Tyre. This expansion also plays a vital role in industrial growth and job creation in Madhya Pradesh, further strengthening JK Tyre’s commitment to India’s automotive ecosystem.
Raghupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, highlighted the company’s focus on continuous capacity growth, modernisation, and innovation in response to rising passenger vehicle demand. He stated, “Banmore has been a cornerstone of our passenger car radial journey, and this expansion further reinforces our ability to serve OEMs and consumers with high-quality, sustainable, and future-ready products.”
