KEC International, an RPG Group company, has secured new orders worth Rs 2,255 crore across its various businesses. The transmission and distribution business has secured orders worth Rs 885 crore for T&D projects in India.
The company has bagged 400 kV transmission line and substation orders from the Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) under tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) route. A 765 kV transmission line project has been bagged from the Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation (TANTRANSCO) and a 220 kV GIS substation project along with associated overhead lines and cable works from the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation (KPTCL).
The urban transport business has secured an order worth Rs 853 crore for construction of an elevated viaduct along with 10 stations of the Delhi Metro Phase-IV project from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
The railways business has secured an order valued at Rs 517 crore for construction of roadbeds, major and minor bridges and associated civil works, from the Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) in India.
