Kapil Industries plans to set up a bulk drug and intermediates manufacturing unit with a capacity of 120 tpa at Devalamma Nagaram village of Yadadri Bhuvanagri in the Hyderabad district of Telangana.

The proposed unit will cover 4.5 acres of land and create about 150 employment opportunities for people, 25 of which will be direct and 125 will be indirect jobs. The total water requirement of 111.5 kl per day will be sourced through groundwater, and the required 400 kVA power will be met by TSSPDCL.

The state environment impact assessment authority, SEIAA, granted Kapil Industries environmental clearances (EC) on the project in mid-2022.

According to Projects Today updates, the company plans to start working on the project in July 2023.
