LC Infra Projects has been awarded a major contract by the Municipal Corporation of Bhopal for the augmentation, renovation, and extended area coverage of the water supply system in Bhopal city under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme. The estimated cost is Rs 493.48 crore.
The comprehensive order involves survey, soil investigation, design, and execution of multiple components for upgrading the water infrastructure. Key works include the construction of an intake well, setting up a raw water pump house, and installation of raw and clear water pumps. The scope also covers the establishment of a substation with a 33 kV feeder, construction of a water treatment plant (WTP), elevated level storage reservoirs (ELSRs), and ground level storage reservoirs (GLSRs).
Additionally, the work includes providing, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of raw and clear water pumping mains, feeder mains, and a city-wide distribution network to ensure an efficient and expanded water supply system for Bhopal. This contract is part of the government's effort to improve urban water supply infrastructure, ensuring sustainable and equitable water distribution across Bhopal under the AMRUT 2.0 mission.
