The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has offered 63 million sq ft strata office market worth Rs 1,105 billion.
This is happening because high net worth individuals and family offices in India continue to allocate more capital into commercial real estate investments with focus on office.
It currently has the highest leased space with 49 million sq ft of stock worth Rs 887 billion.
MMR sub-markets provide ready-to-lease space of 12 million sq ft which could offer higher returns than leased space. Since the upcoming supply is likely to be deferred in 2020, only 1.2 million sq ft under construction space will be available for strata investments.
