The Maharashtra state government has launched a portal -
mahapwd.com. This portal would provide businessmen, contractors, service
providers and citizens information from the state's public works departments.
The portal has a government to
citizen section, which provides information like permissions and clearances
required by citizens for various purposes and the departments concerned. Official
forms and documents required could also be downloaded from the site.
