Manomay Tex India has started commercial production at its denim plant located at Gangrar (Raj) in Rajasthan.
The company started trial production on 25 April 2018 and commercial production from 3 May 2018.
It has expanded operations at its existing denim unit at Gangrar through capacity addition of 120 lakh mtr per annum and setting up of complete manufacturing facilities by installing one more indigo dyeing machine and replacing old 24 air jet looms with new air jet looms by importing it from Japan.
It has also installed Mersrizer, Dsizer and related finishing range for manufacturing of export quality fabrics.
The total production capacity of the denim unit has been increased from 240 lakh mtr per annum to 360 lakh mtr per annum.
