Private banking major ICICI Bank's upcoming landmark building will be housed in Hyderabad. ICICI Bank's regional hub is being constructed at an investment of about 1,000 crore.
With a built-up area of four million sq. ft., the green concrete building is slated to be India's largest captive office building and the 18th largest in the world in terms of floor area in a single building. At 5.5 lakh tonne, the 70-mtrs. high building. This 20-storey building will tower over its other neighbours like Franklin Templeton, Cognizant in the APIIC (Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation) financial district coming up adjacent to the IT hub of Gachibowli.
This bank hub will also sport the country's single longest escalator with a length of 14.4 mtrs. in its 20 mtrs. high atrium. Apart from enough office space to accommodate 22,000 employees, the building will also have a huge parking space for 4,500 two-wheelers, 1,500 four-wheelers and 11 buses.
Also, there will be 80 elevators, and 60 escalators to take care of in-house transportation, apart from food courtsa nd restaurants.
