Meghmani Finechem (MFL), a material subsidiary of Meghmani Organics (MOL), has completed installation of an integrated Hydrogen Peroxide (H202) plant in the existing Chloralkali and Derivative Complex at GIDC Dahej, Bharuch in south Gujarat.
The project is for value addition of the hydrogen gas and it will utilise the hydrogen gas from its own integrated Chloralkali Complex.
The Hydrogen Peroxide 50 percent concentration plant has a capacity of 60,000 tpa. The plant has been set up at the cost of Rs 180 crore. The plant production process is based on the latest state-of-the-art technology.
The company expects to achieve a turnover of Rs 160 crore in full year of operation in FY22 and total revenue of integrated complex will reach Rs 1,200 crore by FY22 with key contributions from the existing Caustic Chlorine, Potash and Derivatives such as Chloromethane, Hydrogen Peroxide, Epichlorohydrin (ECH) and Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC resin).
The plant will cater to various industries such as textile bleaching, paper and pulp bleaching, water and effluent treatment, non-edible oil refining, chemical synthesis, sugar bleaching and metallurgy industry.
Moreover, the company will also focus on other industries such as organic peroxides, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
The two new upcoming projects, namely Epichlorohydrin and CPVC resin, will be commissioned in FY22 and FY23 respectively, and total revenue of the company will reach Rs 2,000 crore on full operation.
