MiniMines Cleantech Solutions has committed to an investment of Rs 350 crore to establish a giga critical minerals refining complex in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
This facility will refine 15,000 MTPA of key minerals such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper, graphite, and rare earth elements in its first phase. The project aims to strengthen India’s domestic supply chain for the clean energy and advanced manufacturing sectors, including electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy, aerospace, defence, and electronics.
Anupam Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO, stated, "This MoU marks a major step in India’s journey toward self-reliance in critical minerals." The complex is expected to create over 1,500 direct and indirect employment, and generate approx. Rs 1,300 crore in annual turnover.
