Madhucan Infra (MIL), a subsidiary of Madhucon Projects, has completed construction of the Phase I of 300 MW power plant near Nellore in Andhra Pradesh.
Simhapuri Energy, a SPV promoted by Madhucon Projects, is setting up the 2x150 MW coal based power project which is now heading towards synchronization. The SPV has received the startup power from PGCIL and Southern Regional Load Dispatch Centre (SRLDC) and the boiler light up process has commenced.
The Phase II of 300 MW is slated to be commissioned by August 2012. Simhapuri Energy has also applied for clearances of the Phase III of 1,320 MW and hope to start the commissioning activities by Q4 of 2012.
