ACC has chalked out an investment plan of Rs 1,300 crore for 2010-11
financial year.
The company plans to expand capacity from 26 to 30 million tpa by December
2010. The proposed capacity addition is likely to be done through brownfield
expansions, according to sources.
The new clinkering line at Chanda in Maharashtra is expected to be
commissioned during 2010. This line is likely to add three million tpa. In 2011,
the company plans to add another two million tpa.
Also, additional power capacity of 50 MW at Wadi in Karnataka and 25 MW at
Chanda is expected to come up in 2010.
