1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

ONGC Tripura Power gets green nod for gas-based power project

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has accorded green nod to ONGC Tripura Power Company for expansion of gas- based power project.

The proposed expansion includes 726.6 MW (Unit-3 & 4 - two x 363.3 MW) gas- based power project located at village Palatana in Gomati district of Tripura.

It has been proposed to establish the expansion units within the existing plant on the available land. Thus no additional land is to be acquired. Total area of the site is 197.15 acre (79.78 ha) out of which 193.66 acre (78.37 ha) is forest land and 3.49 acre (1.41 ha) is private land.

The existing plant has been set up in 164.05 acre out of 197.15 acre and the proposed project will utilise 33.1 acre land.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3,580 crore. The cost of environmental management plan during construction phase and operation phase is Rs 19.69 lakh and Rs 6.32 crore, respectively.

The existing manpower is 155 persons. Around 500 persons will be required during construction phase of the proposed project. Subsequently, around 235 persons will be engaged during operation phase for the entire plant.
