1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Odisha clears investment proposals worth Rs 6,443 cr

The state government of Odisha cleared investment projects worth Rs 6,443 crore on 6 January 2021, including some expansion projects in diverse sectors which will generate around 4,700 jobs. 
 
The high-level clearance authority (HLCA) led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik cleared three projects, while the state-level single window clearance authority (SLSWCA) led by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra sanctioned five projects with individual investment potential of less than Rs 1,000 crore. 
 
Among the approved projects include expansion of Yazdani Steel and Power’s integrated steel plant from the existing 0.07 million tpa to 1.19 million tpa located at Kalinganagar in Jajpur district. The company has planned an investment of Rs 2,415 crore which will create additional employment opportunities for 2,867 persons. 
 
Approval was accorded to a proposal of Shiva Cement (SCL), a subsidiary of JSW Cement, for a clinker unit with a capacity of 1.32 million tpa at Telighana, Kutra in Sundergarh. Several other subsidiary investment plans of the company also got the state government approval. The company will infuse around Rs 1,523 crore for the project which will create 600 new job opportunities. 
 
In the Refinery and Petrochemicals sector, an investment proposal of Rs 1,420 crore was given nod. The approved project is for establishment of a crude oil terminal by Numaligarh Refinery (NRL) at Paradip.  The project will generate employment opportunities for around 200. 
 
SLSWCA also cleared IFFCO’s sulphuric acid expansion project unit with an additional annual capacity of 6,60,000 tonne at Paradip with an investment of Rs 400 crore and a series of projects in Sundargarh district by Patnaik Minerals with total investment of Rs 243 crore. 
 
The Chief Secretary-led panel approved two grain-based distillery units and bottling plants by Premier Alcobev at Bamra in Sambalpur with an investment of Rs 275 crore and by Cuttack Agrivet at Mundali in Cuttack worth Rs 112.50 crore. 
 
Apart from this, a 4-star-hotel-cum-resort project by S J Developers and Housing at Pipli in Puri district has received an approval for promoting the state’s tourism sector. The company will invest Rs 54.58 crore for the project. 
 
With the approval of the eight projects, the state government has cleared projects worth Rs 1.25 lakh crore during the COVID-19 period.
