Raghav Productivity Enhancers (RPEL) has commenced the commercial operations at its new plant set-up under its wholly-owned subsidiary Raghav Productivity Solutions (RPSPL).

The new plant, which is situated adjoining its existing plant at Newai, nearly 60 km from Jaipur, will manufacture higher quality silica ramming mass and its processes are enabled by the latest technology plant and equipment, fuelled by research and development (R&D) efforts and affiliations with reputed institutions globally. The plant was built with a total capex of Rs 65 crore, primarily funded by its parent company, RPEL.

The company will introduce a differentiated packaging and trade name for the enhanced variant along with differential higher pricing, even as the premium product could also support the company in expanding its footprint in value-added foundry and casting market in addition to steel plants, both in domestic and export markets.

The company’s existing plant is running at near its optimum capacity utilisation with further ramp-up expected over the next few quarters.
