Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Ltd. (RGTIL) is likely to start
testing (dry run) in the pipeline it is implementing from Kakinada to Baruch.
RGTIL's 1,440 km
pipeline project will span from Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh) to Baruch (Gujarat) to
transport gas from Reliance Industries Ltd's (RIL) east coast fields. The
pipeline will carry gas from the D6 block of Krishna-Godavari Basin with a
capacity to transport 120 million cubic meters a day (mcmd) of gas.
RGTL has received all
the necessary approvals and environmental clearances for the proposed project.
The company is expecting to complete the project by May now, from the scheduled
March deadline earlier.
