Malegaon Municipal Corporation has invited RfQs for development of an underground sewerage scheme at Malegaon city, in Nashik district of Maharashtra.

RfQs have been invited for designing, providing of sewer network, constructing, erecting and commissioning of intermediate sewage pumping stations, rising main, 80 million ltr per day capacity sewage treatment plant, based on advance technology including operation and maintenance for five years under UIDSSMT.

The cost of the work is Rs 246.14 crore.

Urban infrastructure Development Scheme for Small & Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) has been launched for improvement in urban infrastructure in towns and cities, in a planned manner.

The scheme will apply to all cities / towns as per 2001 census, except to cities / towns covered under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).

The components for assistance under the scheme include all urban infrastructure development projects including water supply and sewerage.
