SANY India, a prominent player in the construction equipment industry, has inaugurated a factory within its 90-acre manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra. It is equipped with cutting-edge manufacturing technologies for delivering high-quality, reliable equipment to cater to the construction, mining, and energy sectors in India and overseas.

The new plant boasts an annual production capacity of over 14,000 units and a fabrication capacity exceeding 1,00,000 tonnes. Designed for operational flexibility and precision, it is set to optimise delivery timelines and expand SANY’s product offerings.

By blending advanced technologies and a focus on localisation in manufacturing processes, the new factory reinforces SANY’s vision of leading in the global construction equipment sector, while  emphasising alignment with the "Make in India" initiative.

Chairman of SANY Group, Xiang Wenbo, stated, “This new factory represents a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering world-class products with utmost precision. By incorporating the latest manufacturing technologies, we are positioning ourselves to meet both the challenges of today and the demands of tomorrow.” Wenbo also underscored India’s critical role as a key operational hub for SANY’s overseas business and an integral part of its global strategy.
