Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corpn is planning to develop a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for aerospace and precision engineering at Adibatla village, in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana.
The project will entail an investment of Rs 252.27 crore and will spread over 250 acre of land.
The scope of work includes engine overhauling, ancillary overhaul and repair, ancillary design and development, technical services, component overhaul and repair and aero-university.
Additional facilities such as office complex, IT support companies, first aid facility, car parking facilities, sewage treatment plant (STP), solid waste segregation point, D G sets (emergency supply - 3x500 kVA), etc. will be developed.
The company is awaiting environmental clearance (EC) to develop the project. Work on the project is expected to commence by June 2018.
